What is the difference between a single channel video installation and a film screening? [the former loops, doesn't have a set starting time. the former is usually in a gallery rather than a proper theater.]

What is art? [one answer: Art is an apparatus that creates an entangled experience with its "audience."]

What is Ars Poetica? [art that talks about making art]

According to Deleuze/Guattari, What is a rhizome? A body without organs? De-territorialization? Re-territorialization?

Q: How do you make yourself a body without organs? A: You already have one. (What does this mean?)

Any initial thoughts?

How would it have been different had you skipped the initial interview with the artist?

How would you describe the quality of the materials used? Expensive? Cheap? What effect did the quality of the materials have on your experience?

Can you use human bodies as "material" in your art? Whose bodies are you authorized to use? Is there such a thing as a "normal" human body?

What is gained by bimbofication? [control] What is lost? [control]

What is the artist's attitude toward this hyper-feminine form of idealized beauty? Critical? Celebratory? Something more complicated?

Can there be ethical value in being made to feel uncomfortable? How?
