Jesus of Nazareth
God
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
(Colossians 1:15-20)

I was born as a native of North Carolina. I came to know the Lord Jesus at
the age of seventeen at the Garr Auditorium in Charlotte. The Lord put a
desire in my heart to serve Him, and to be a blessing to others. My faith in
Him grew as I searched the scriptures for the words and works of Jesus.
My wife and I moved to Hendersonville from California in 1992. We wanted to
find a church where we would be a blessing. A friend told us about Pisgah
Vineyard which was near our home. We went to visit and found a warm welcome.
I felt like we had found a home.
The presence of the Lord comes into our life when we welcome Him. I look
forward with expectancy to those times when we meet and see the Lord working
in our meeting.
John DeGraw
worship leader / elder
Originally from New Jersey, my wife and I moved to California in January 1990. While in California we were introduced to the Vineyard movement in 1994 when renewal came to the Northwest. It was during this time that God placed a burning desire in my heart to learn about worship. He would be my teacher and His Word would be my textbook. He took me on a journey that has not ended yet. Along the way I have learned from the Vineyard just how precious and important worship is. Along with my desire to worship Him completely, I want to see the "Bible Belt" explode with an intense fire of worship of a Holy God.
My wife Lisa and I live in Flat Rock, NC with our son Daniel our new baby daughter Grace Lee.

I am a retired educator, having taught mathematics for 31 years in the public schools of North Carolina. Currently, I am employed with Jesse Israel & Sons Garden Center and Nursery in Asheville, North Carolina. My wife is a retired insurance customer service representative. We host a weekly BibleStudy/Kinship group in our home on Wednesday night.
Jesus has always been important to us and our family. We are thankful for all He had done, for all He is doing and all He will do.

I was born in Asheville and raised on a small livestock farm in Candler, NC. I married my wife Bethany in 1986 and we have 3 daughters whom Bethany home schools. We currently live in Candler, N.C. where we host a Kinship group.
I accepted Christ as savior while in College, but did not understand about letting him be Lord of my life until 1993 when my ignoring God's call on my life caught up with me. I became a broken man and God began rebuilding me into his image. In 1995 I was involved in organizing Pisgah Vineyard Christian Fellowship. I have been quite involved in men's ministry and small group ministry. I currently lead interactive sessions for seminars at the Billy Graham Traning Center at "The Cove". I have a passion for small group and individual ministry that comes in part from my association with Promise Keeper events and from Pisgah Vineyard ministries.
I currently stand in the gap at Pisgah Vineyard with the men's ministry, the "Feeding the Hungry" ministry, and in our Kinship group. I also enjoy standing in the gap at the Social Security Administration in Hendersonville, NC. where work. I love Jesus, my family, my church family, my dogs, my cats, shooting, photography, boating, hiking, skiing, baseball, woodworking, movies, history, camping, and just being with people.
